TSS offers other Custom Vans, for use in markets outside of telecom applications.  Below are examples of Custom Vans built to date, but we can customize any vans to meet customer's requirements.  As described below, most of our custom vans have been built on Sprinter high roof cargo vans; which are offered now with both diesel and gasoline enginess.  Ford now offers a high roof Transit cargo van that is very comparable, which also comes in both diesel and gasoline engines.

1. Custom technology vans built onto Sprinter 3/4 ton, 170" wheelbase, high roof cargo vans.  These vans can be used for technology demonstrations, or even serve as work vans.  One of these vans is equipped with solar panels on the roof for charging the on-board telecom batteries, which support the on-board inverter system, to provide the required 120VAC power.  In addition, this van is setup to charge the batteries when the engine is running, and it also has an external inlet to plug a shore power cord into it to charge the batteries as well.

2. Coffee brewing van built onto a Sprinter 3/4 ton, 170" wheelbase, high roof cargo van.  It is built to meet commercial requirements including installation of commercial coffee brewing equipment.  This van is powered via an onboard EPS 20KW diesel generator in the rear; with a ? on-board diesel, external fuel tank behind the generator, capability to connect shore power via a power cord to run the on-board refrigerator, and equipped with on-board sink e/w hot water, including on-board clean and dirty water tanks.

3. Frac van for use in the oil fracking industry, serving as a mobile test lab; built onto a Sprinter 3/4 ton, 170" wheelbase, high roof cargo vans..  It is equipped with all stainless steel countertops, all aluminum cabinets, and a couch / bed for extended hour work.  It is also powered via an on-board 5KW inverter supported by (2) separate 12VDC batteries, powered by the van's engine when it is running.  Also, the rear air conditioner / heater is tied into the van's cooling and heating system; so it only operates when the van is running.  This van also includes an on-board sink e/w hot water, including on-board clean and dirty water tanks.
