Cell Site on Wheels (Pneumatic or Lattice)
 

Cell Site on Wheels (CSOW) for mobile (temporary) indoor BTS applications including a trailer typically equipped with a shelter, Will-Burt locking pneumatic mast, RF antenna mounting kit, maintenance platform, RF antenna mounting kit, AC utility connection, transfer switch, AC load center and a diesel generator for backup power.  These locking pneumatic masts are offered in extended heights from 30' to 164'.  Standard trailer equipment includes: all steel / welded construction, galvanized steel grated deck, maintenance platform, RV step on the rear of the trailer, (4) lockable storage compartments, oversized dual axles (8,000 lb rating each), tongue jack, safety chains, recessed spare tire, running lights / reflectors, electric brakes and (4) swing away leveling jacks.  Optional equipment includes: an integrated base tank under the trailer deck or an external tank for increased generator run-time capacity, a cable management kit for the mast, a mounting kit for a microwave dish and cable reels to help manage the BTS cables when this product is being transported.  We have our own custom hydraulic lifting system which allows for 100' masts and taller to be used with the shelter without losing any trailer deck space, while allowing for safe transport with the mast in the horizontal positionWe can provide you with details on this system upon request.

Our shelters are typically equipped with a single, steel door (on rear), aluminum or steel walls (both inner and outer), AC load center, air conditioners (e/w heaters), fluorescent lighting, electrical outlets, internal master ground bar, thermal alarms, door alarm, waveguide cable entry ports and RF ground ba.  A more detailed description of our shelter's construction is provided under the shelters product page.  Note, all electrical equipment and wiring are installed per the National Electric Code. 

We can also provide Cell Site on Wheels (CSOW) equipped with motorized lattice towers, rather than the masts described above.  These motorized lattice towers are offered in extended heights of 60', 85', 106', 120' and 150'.  For towers up to 120', the trailers come standard with dual 7,000 lb axles and the decks are coverd with either galvanized steel or aluminum tread plate.  In addition, there are (4) galvanized outriggers provided which transport attached to the sides of the trailer. 

We can custom design and build these CSOWs in any size requirements for any application.  In addition, we can integrate the customer owned equipment into this product, creating a turn key solution.  Our standard warranty on the trailer is 3 years, our standard warranty on the shelter is 1 year and our integration warranty is 1 year; all other OEM material is warranted by the original manufacturers.  For inquiries and quote requests, email us at sales@telecomsitesolutions.com.

All of the photos below show one of our recent Cell Site on Wheels that we shipped to one of our customers.  The top six photos show the outside features, while the bottom six photos show the features inside of our shelter provided with this product.  It is equipped with an 18' bed trailer (25' overall) e/w (2) 8,000 lb axles, 10'-7"L x 8'-0"W x 9'-0"H aluminum shelter e/w (2) 3-ton air conditioners, 45 KW MQ Power generator e/w 72 gallon internal fuel tank and 55 gallon external fuel tank, 60' Will-Burt Super Heavy Duty pneumatic mast, 200A Automatic Transfer Switch, 200A distribution panel, outdoor RF ground bar, outdoor duplex outlet and (4) lockable tool boxes (the air compressor is installed inside the tool box below the ATS).

 
 

Internal features within our shelter, shown below, include a cable ladder along the length of both walls and one across the middle, central ground all around the internal perimeter for easy equipment grounding, (2) fluorescent lights e/w switch, 200A distribution panel, (6) duplex outlets, internal master ground bar, internal emergency light (battery powered), alarmed smoke detector, telco board equipped with a 66 block with the followng alarms (low temperature, high temperature, open door, smoke and power fail).  Note, all wiring is run in permanent conduit.
